The inner covering is a special Ultrathane Multi-way Stretch health Care fabric that is designed to be the ultimate high-stretch covering for the healthcare and aged-care industries. The soft feel of the Ultrathane is designed to suit pressure care and sensitive skin prone to tearing.

When combined with memory foam, the elasticity of the Ultrathane can help to improve pressure distribution on patients. .
For other areas that may be prone to bumps and scuffs i.e. the back and sides of the chair, we recommend using wear resistant fabrics such as a suede and other Heavy duty commercial grade fabrics.
